Have one or more Citrix XenApp 6.5 user(s) that receive pop-ups stating Windows is not Genuine?
Setup
- Windows server 2008 R2
- VAMT MAK licensing
- Citrix XenApp 6.5
When you have the following situation (Checklist):
When all items on the checklist are ticked you can try this solution:
- Open a command box on the Citrix XenApp server of step 2
- Enter the following command to stop the service:
sc stop sppsvc
- You have to wait until the service stops
- Enter the following command to start the service again:
sc start sppsvc
Log on to your VAMT server and get a new status update for the Citrix XenApp server. (Right click the server name, select
"Update Status", "Current credential").
You must now get a message "Successfully updated the product information."
When you log off and log on to your Citrix XenApp server again (step 3), the warning must have gone and your original
desktop will be restored to notify that licensing is valid again.
