ICT-Hotlist TopicQuicly creating large files on the command promptFor example use
fsutil file createnew c:\testfs.txt 4294967296
This quickly creates a file of 4GB bytes containing zeros (0x00). Do not compress these files and send them per mail :-) Read more about this FAT and NTFS tool and a lot more useful options at: https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/windows-server/administration/windows-commands/fsutil(Windows XP or better) Fsutil is the Windows version of the unix/ linux / bsd command "dd". This example creates a file testdd.txt in the current firectory of 1GB.
dd if=/dev/zero of=testdd.txt bs=1024 seek=$[1024]
